1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging the services of Wemove.sg (“Company”), confirming a booking, or making payment, the client (“Client”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
The Company provides relocation, transportation, dismantling, reassembly, and disposal services as agreed prior to the move.
All services are provided on a per truck-load basis, unless otherwise specified.
3. Pricing Structure
3.1 Charges are based on truck-load capacity rather than item count.
3.2 If items exceed the allocated truck capacity, an additional trip will be required and charged accordingly.
3.3 Staircase handling is chargeable at SGD $15 per flight.
3.4 Additional charges may apply where:
- Access conditions differ from those declared
- Lift access is unavailable or restricted
- There are delays due to building management or site conditions
4. Specialty Items
Items requiring specialised handling, including but not limited to heavy safes, massive marble pieces, large glass panels, and unusually heavy items, must be declared prior to the move.
The Company reserves the right to:
- Revise the quotation; or
- Decline transportation if deemed unsafe or unsuitable
Undeclared specialty items presented on-site may be refused.
5. Booking, Deposit and Cancellation
5.1 A booking deposit of 20% of the quoted invoice (minimum SGD $50) is required to secure the scheduled date and time.
5.2 The deposit will be applied toward the final invoice.
5.3 Cancellation within 12 hours of the scheduled move time will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
5.4 For same-day bookings, cancellation within 3 hours of the scheduled move time will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
5.5 If cancellation occurs after the moving team has arrived on-site, an operational deployment charge of up to 50% of the quoted invoice may apply.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Full payment is due upon completion of services and prior to departure of the moving team.
6.2 Corporate clients may be granted invoice terms of up to 7 days, subject to prior agreement.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client shall:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding items and access conditions
- Obtain necessary building approvals and permits
- Ensure safe and unobstructed access at both pickup and delivery locations
The Company may assist in coordination; however, ultimate responsibility remains with the Client.
8. Damage and Claims
8.1 All claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of job completion.
8.2 “Damage” refers to physical structural harm directly caused during handling and does not include pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections, or internal mechanical failure.
8.3 The Company reserves the right to repair damaged items before offering compensation.
8.4 Liability is limited to SGD $150 per item or the total invoice amount, whichever is lower.
9. Exclusions of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for items packed solely by the Client, pre-existing defects, or internal/latent defects not externally visible.
10. Delays and External Factors
The Company shall not be responsible for delays arising from lift breakdowns, traffic, weather, or building management regulations.
11. Disposal Services
Items removed for disposal become the responsibility of the Company upon collection and will be disposed of in accordance with regulations.
12. Dispute Resolution
The parties agree to attempt amicable resolution and mediation prior to commencing legal proceedings.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
